Although, I was very sick yesterday there was nothing that was going to make me miss the fashion event of the year "The Oscars!!!" For as long as I can remember I have always loved to watch them and most of all see what everyone is wearing. Last night, did not disapoint me at all....the old time "Hollywood Glamour," was out in full force. I must say that everyone looked absolutly beautiful and there really were not very many dresses that I disliked. I definatly noticed that there was a trend with very glamorous red dresses last night and I was loving it!!! Jennifer Hudson, was drop dead gorgeous in her Tangerine Red dress and I was in love with Ann Hathaway's Valentino Red gown!!! I could not get enough of Ann Hathaway's gowns...they were all just stunning!!! My jaw dropped when Amy Adams walked on stage in her glitzy and very sparkly navy blue gown....anyone who knows me, knows that I love anything that sparkles!!! So, tell me....who was your favorite last night??

Run...Do Not Walk..to your nearest beauty supply store!

I am very lucky because I have a Mom, who works for a hair salon and she always brings me different goodies to try out. A few weeks ago, she arrived at my house with some samples of Redken's latest product..."Nature's Rescue!" I must say that I was in heaven as soon as I stepped into the shower and tried it out and I had to go out and purchase the entire line of products.

"Natures Rescue," is a line of products developed by Redken, that is paraben, sulfate and silicone free. "Nature's Rescue," relies on plant and marine extracts to deeply cleanse hair and restore moisture, while smoothing the cuticle. It is safe for all hair types and is my most favorite line of haircare products right now. I have naturally curly hair that is very thick and coarse but after giving birth to my second child, my hair changed drastically. My hair really seemed to lack the shine, bounce and curls that it once had. Once I tried these products by Redken, it definatly put the life back into my hair and made it extremely shiney and the smell is heavenly....it smells just like the ocean and smells so fresh and clean.

There are four products in the collection. The Shampoo, The Cooling Conditioner and the Sea Polish. I have to explain the Sea Polish, to you before you try it out because you may be alittle flipped out by it. The Sea Polish, is made of these small granuiles that almost feel like sand when you put it in your hand. You rub it into your wet hair after using the shampoo and do a circular motion with it all over your head and then rinse. It will make you feel as if you just spent the day at the beach, rolling all around in the sand but I promise you the results that you get when you are done are fabulous!!! The Sea Polish exfoliates your hair's surface, leaving it polished and less frizzy!! Trust me, you will love it. You follow it up with the Cooling Deep Conditioner, and then the Radiant Sea Spray!!

I highly recommend the products for everyone out there. I have been using the collection for several weeks now and it has made such a huge difference with my hair. I only use it one to two times a week. If you decide to try it out, let me know how you liked it. I hope you love it as much as I do!!!

"A Girl Should Be Two Things: Classy and Fabulous." Coco Chanel

Welcome to my very first blog post! I am super excited to start this blog. For all of you who know me personally, you know that I have a great love for fashion and clothing. Growing up, I always had the best and most stylish clothes and I still try to be that way today. I love to dress nicely. I am a Stay At Home Mom, but I still like to look fabulous and dress to the nines. Just because you are a Stay At Home Mom, does not mean that your life is over and that you have to spend it with messy hair in workout gear all day long. You can still look nice, stylish and feel good about yourself. Although, I can't stand getting up at 5:30 am, every morning to get ready each day I still like to look nice because it makes me feel happy and feel much better about myself, and therefore I feel like I am a better Momma because I am a happy Momma!

I decided to start this blog because I have always loved to help people put outfits together and to give them fashion and beauty advice. It has always been an outlet for my creative energy. I have worked part time in several different clothing stores helping people find clothing that will make them feel like a million bucks and it makes me happy to know that I helped bring alittle bit of happiness into the life of someone else. I really enjoyed working at Express, Macys, American Eagle, The Limited and my most favorite Ann Taylor LOFT. I am like the girl in the movie "Confessions of a Shopaholic,"....I walk past store windows full of shoes and clothes and I melt like butter. I love it. I can't go to the grocery store, the local Rite Aide or Happy Harry's without picking up some sort of fashion magazine. It is a bad, bad addiction. Not only do I love clothes, shoes and purses but I am also a beauty product junkie. I love to go to Sephora, Ulta and don't ever send me to the drugstore to pick up medicine because it will be a few hours before I return. hahaha!!!

I am hoping that you will all join me for this crazy but fun ride as I blog about all things beautiful and the not so beautiful in the fashion, beauty product and parenting world.
